I am a huge fan of saunas and always look for places where I can indulge in quality relaxation. When I found out about Saunia Brno, located in the Letmo shopping center right next to the main train station in Brno, I decided to give this branch a try. The location itself is great—easily accessible and, as I quickly discovered, well soundproofed and thus perfect for rest. What are my impressions from the visit? I’ll reveal that in this review.
First Impressions and Environment
Right upon arrival, I was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and a modern interior. Saunia Brno has a very clean and tastefully designed space that makes you feel like you’ve entered another world. What struck me the most, however, was the panoramic view of Brno—sitting in the relaxation zone and watching the city bustle from the comfort of the sauna is an absolutely unique experience.
Range of Saunas and Sauna Ceremonies
Naturally, the main draw is the sauna selection. Saunia Brno offers a wide array of options, including:
- Finnish saunas for intense whole-body heating
- Tropical saunas with natural scents from around the world
- Salt saunas ideal for respiratory health, not just for athletes
- and lastly, a Steam bath, great for hydrating the skin and fighting acne
What excited me the most were the sauna ceremonies. They are led by experienced sauna masters who create an unforgettable experience—combining music, scents, and various air-whisking techniques, which take body heating to a whole new level. I won’t lie—it’s simply amazing! That said, I must point out that the intense heat might not be for everyone, and if you start feeling unwell, you can leave the ceremony at any time.
Hygiene and Comfort at Saunia
As someone who really cares about cleanliness, I was pleasantly surprised. The entire space is perfectly maintained; towels and sheets are always available, and the lockers for storing your belongings are spacious and easy to use. Sometimes the lockers don’t close on the first try, but that’s not a major issue.
Refreshing Bar and Snack Offerings
After intensive sauna sessions, it’s great that you can treat yourself to something refreshing at the Refreshing Bar, which offers a wide range of drinks, lemonades, beer, and meals such as Caprese salad, pizza, and panini. I personally ordered a fresh orange and grapefruit juice, and I have to say it was the perfect finishing touch to the entire relaxation experience.
Price vs. Quality + Top-Up Bonus and Free Entry
Price-wise, Saunia Brno is very reasonable, and if you plan to visit more often, I definitely recommend topping up credit and using a Multisport card. You get nice bonuses for larger top-ups—for example, when you top up 3,000 CZK you get 500 CZK extra, 5,000 CZK gets you 1,000 CZK extra, and 10,000 CZK gives you an extra 2,500 CZK. As I understood from the front-desk staff, this promotion doesn’t run constantly, but as a visitor to Saunia, you can definitely catch it several times a year.

Great Accessibility for Everyone in Brno
Thanks to its location in OC Letmo, Saunia is accessible right from the city center. Just a few steps from the main train station and you’re there, which is fantastic not only for locals who can get here by tram or car, but also for tourists, who can reach it in no time from the main sights.
What Could Be Better?
The only downside is the higher number of visitors in the evening and on weekends. Sometimes it’s harder to find a free spot in the cooling pool or the relaxation zone. If you want a calmer atmosphere, I recommend coming on a weekday morning, and you’ll quickly feel as if you’re in a private sauna.
Overall Rating
Saunia Brno pleasantly surprised me, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Great saunas, amazing ceremonies, cleanliness, and a pleasant environment make this place, in my eyes, one of the best wellness centers in Brno. If you’re looking to escape the daily hustle, I highly recommend it.
